New Teaching Cloud Complements Emerging Computing Cloud

Potomac, Maryland, February 2, 2007—In creating the first "teaching cloud," Learn Without Limits has created a Web 2.0 platform for helping students accelerate their learning in math. No longer held back by having to be in lock-step progress with thirty other students, all students will learn much faster than it is possible today with the teaching cloud.

Just as the "computing cloud" composed of thousands of computers is changing how we use computers, the teaching cloud composed of thousands of teachers helping students will change how math and science is taught.

The teaching cloud lets every student’s question, whether in school or at home, be answered when the student has the question. The impact of immediate help lets student achieve true understanding and academic excellence in far less time than the normal classroom. The brightest math student can easily begin taking advance college course while still in high school when a school adopts a teaching cloud.

When a student directs their own education with questions as compared to being fed information by a teacher in front of a classroom, the interest of the student increases proportionally with the acceleration in the speed of learning.

In the teaching cloud, teachers from around the world can efficiently participate and as a result, educational costs are greatly decreased making a quality education affordable for all students.

Parent often wonder if their child has enough motivation to utilize the teaching cloud but such doubts quickly disappear when the parents see their child using the cloud to get unstuck while doing homework. All students want the fastest way to learn—even those that resist even going to school.

Learn Without Limits sees that the "teaching cloud" will dramatically alter how teaching math and science is done in schools.
